Febbraio 2012. Londra protagonista. La mia prima sfilata alla London Fashion Week. Christopher Bailey con la sua collezione mi fece emozionare e pensare ad una Londra in bianco e nero in perfetto stile retrò: brit style allo stato puro.
Giugno 2012. Milano moda uomo. La stessa atmosfera. La stessa musica penetrante. La stessa eleganza anche per l’uomo: completi abbinati a bomber in tinte decisamente accese, impermeabili (tanto cari al brand) con tonalità accecanti, stampe foulard e camicie a maniche corte che si accendono di toni metallici.
Verde, blu petrolio, viola, fucsia e rosa metallizzato si sono alternati a stampe artistiche, seersucker (tele crespe a strisce bianche e blu) e tweed estivi arricchiti da custodie da viaggio o per iPad (in alligatore metallizzato) e occhiali da sole e calzature impermeabili.
Una moda decisamente futurista ma che strizza l’occhio al passato. Una collezione che parla di cambiamento.
Anche in questa occasione la sfilata è stata trasmessa in diretta streaming e la collezione è già acquistabile sul sito ufficiale della maison.

June 2012. Milan Fashion Week. The same atmosphere. The same deep music. The same elegance also for the man collection: suit matched with bright bomber and raincoat, foulard prints and metaliic shirts.
Green, dark blue-green, violet, metallic fuchsia and pink alterned with artistic prints, seersucker and summer tweed; every look enriched with travel and iPad cases and waterproof shoes and sunglasses.
A deeply futuristic fashion with an eye to the past. A collection of changing times.
This fashion show was live in streaming and the collection is already available on the Burberry official online store.
